Being in a power exchange relationship takes a lot of work from people on both ends of the leash, but all work and no play makes Master and slave both dull. Though BDSM is not always a part of power exchange relationships and is certainly not the priority in most of our dynamics, the energy and connection created during play can be a powerful tool in keeping our relationships strong. The intimacy of a hands only scene can allow energy to flow and encourage vulnerability. Impact play can be a chance for your slave to show how much they can take for you. Something as simple as bondage can allow time for reflection and physically feeling the limitations imposed upon your body by another.

These are a few small examples of how incorporating BDSM into your power exchange can awaken a deeper feeling of dominance or submission, ownership or surrender. Whether you are using kink just for fun, as part of ritual, for catharsis, or as a physical form of power and control, play can certainly enhance our dynamics – keeping them strong or realigning them when things begin to stray.

Please join us at MAsT Metro NY to discuss ways that you can incorporate BDSM activity into your authority based relationship, the potential differences between play with a random partner versus within a power dynamic, and how this tool can be used as part of your relationship to encourage a deeper connection.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN AN M/s or authority based relationship to attend!
